NPOV dispute

[edit]

neutrality of article is in question due to use of non-neutral language and adjectives. for example: "Nagasaki is strongly and consistently associated with Singapore's goth subculture and underground BDSM scene in the media [4] and exists as one of Singapore's most public figures championing alternative culture."

Hakubaiko (talk) 10:22, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Despite this fact, many still recognise Nagasaki's participation in Flow as his Magnum Opus" is not cited. who are "many"?

Hakubaiko (talk) 10:23, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the above comments have been noted and the corresponding statements have been edited to reflect neutrality.

Article Notability

[edit]

This article cites sources which may not meet Wikipedia's standards for reliability and notability. Notes 1, 8, 10, 13, 15 are references to self-published sources which are not independent of the subject. Other citations such as notes 3-7, 9, 17, 18, 20 refer to editorial-style reviews in publications not of mainstream large new organizations, and may not present a non-partisan, neutral POV of a reliable source.

Unionofthesnake (talk) 10:39, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notes 2,4,9 refer to an article detailing the Singapore Gothic subculture and Saito in depth which correponds to notability guide for person: subject of published[3] secondary source material which is reliable, intellectually independent,[4] and independent of the subject.[5]

202.156.146.62 (talk) 15:42, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note 2 refers to a program on Channel Newsasia (national and regional TV) for news and recognition as a panelist and "Leader of SDAM" is notable. Notes 4 and 6 refer to National broadsheet newspaper TODAY in which Saito was recognised as a key figure in Singapore Alternative culture demographic. 202.156.146.62 (talk) 02:08, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
