I

[edit]

I have just started to write this article as I am about to have surgery for this. It is a treatment like an appendectomy not a service- I have removed the reference to a company which provides incontinence products- the inclusion of this was an accidental infringement

Greetings, I took the liberty of rewriting it. What I did was format it according the to the Manual of Style and added references to support the article. It still needs quite a bit of work but I think you may want to create a page in your user space about sacral nerve stimulation. Before you put it into the mainspace, have someone (maybe JFW or myself) review it before putting it out in the mainspace. That way we can point things out that may cause issues and such. I am not a medical doctor or anything but I have been around here a bit and generally know what passes muster and what gets deleted. Cheers! Spryde 17:30, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

100 results on PubMed, including a recent Cochrane Review, make for good inclusion criteria. I have added some content. I would recommend basing ongoing expansions on published peer-reviewed science rather than websites. The research is there. JFW | T@lk 20:00, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

I think these two articles are sufficiently related that they should be handled in one article (at least until there is much, much more information about them). WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:38, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would argue against merging. There are several major differences between sacral anterior nerve root stimulation and sacral nerve stimulation, especially the target population. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JonathanNorton (talkcontribs) 00:11, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Work Plan

I plan to expand upon this article by adding content relevant to Medical Uses, contraindications, adverse effects, manufacturing, and research.
I will be adding more references that follow the MEDRS guidelines.
I plan to embed links to relevant Wikipedia pages such as Sacral nerve stimulation.

Hi, SleepyDO! I think the edits you have made are wonderful! The page is complete and concise. I think it is easy to read and well organized. If I were a patient coming to this page, I would find it greatly beneficial. I think one thing to improve on potentially would be finding more resources to support and back the information. Great work!
