[edit]The sinking of the Tuscania in 1918 made headline news in Europe and North America. Additionally, her sinking has historical interest because she was the only vessel sunk while carrying American troops to Europe during WWI. Re: Army Units On Board - Consider 20th Engineer "Regiment" instead?
[edit]During WWI, the 20th Engineers was a full-fledged Regiment with several subordinate battalions (see the citation). Today, the unit has been deactivated and reduced in strength and is contemporarily referred to as a "battalion" (a lesser echelon element). Does this merit a change?
