DSO for Captain?

This source states that Empire Defender's captain was awarded a DSO for the attempt to deliver ammunition to Malta. However, the dates do not tie up. Can anyone confirm this from another (book?) source? Mjroots (talk) 11:25, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
