[edit]The articles which refer to this ship call her SS Ben Lomond. List of ship names of the Royal Navy (B) (and only that page, currently) redlinks to HMS Ben Lomond. However this appears to be a different ship, https://www.navyhistory.org.au/commander-jm-alliston-dso-dsc-us-legion-of-honour-royal-navy/ reads in part Commanding the tank-landing ship HMS Ben Lomond after the war... and the prefix HMS would be wrong for an armed merchantman.
