SPIF, short for Single Point Incremental Forming. A sheet forming manufacturing technique where a sheet metal part is formed using a single point tool in form of a rod with a spheriacal end. Could also be called die-less forming since no dies are used. Is one out of many rapid prototyping techniques.

So Spif should not be merged with spiff.
