Regarding the school fire happened on the 2nd of December 2008 which has razed two blocks, namely the science block and administrative block, shall we have a report regarding that issue? Or perhaps editing the page?

Editing

[edit]

I have deleted the lists on staff's name after considering that other school articles in wikipedia, including the few featured articles of schools do not include them. I apologize to other wikipedians who has contributed it and wonder if we can discuss the matter. I also deleted the Names of Blocks, which do not have any reference. Please advice on whether we should include the vision, mission, song and pledge. It would also be nice if we can find the reference to the subjects offered in the school and Names of Blocks. And should we edit and add reference to the Extracurricular Activities section? Skyrainbow (talk) 16:55, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment

[edit]

I am re-assessing this article for WikiProject Schools following a request. There is enough here to justify Mid-importance, though the school may be High-importance. Lists of notable alumni and staff would help push the article to High-importance; see WP:WPSCH/AG#S for suggested sections in a school article. The article as a whole is currently C-class, and I think further clean-up and expansion is needed to justify B-class. The article currently does not follow the WP:MOS greatly, particularly with titles and dates. Some parts of the text seem to be lacking in internal links, see WP:LINK. The school information section should probably go completely. Schools songs and pledges should not be added to Wikipedia, however if it can be verified that they are in the public domain then they can be added to Wikisource. Per consensus school objectives, aims e.t.c. should not be in the article either, per WP:WPSCH/AG#WNTI. I'm not sure what the block of non-English text is about in the Kuching High Chinese Language Society section, and nor will most readers. Titles should really be only in English with short phrases perhaps provided in the original language within the article prose. The article is relatively well referenced but try to use citation templates such as {{cite web}} and fill in as many of the parameters as possible.
