I'd like to suggest that this page should be removed. Any genus name that starts with an S can be abbreviated to S. and the context should be clear from any properly written document that uses this abbreviation. S. cerevisiae might be fairly unambiguous, but it is not helpful to suggest that the phrase S. nigra means either a willow tree or an elderberry. A quick search of IPNI produces Setachna nigra, Struthiopteris nigra, Sinapis nigra, Schnella nigra, Suaeda nigra, Stenogyne nigra, Siparuna nigra, Serapias nigra, Sieberia nigra, Sapota nigra, Schisandra nigra, Smilax nigra, and that's just the vascular plants.
