I hope this is an appropriate place to ask this kind of question, but is LibraryThing an accepted (considered verifiable) source for info like birth name, place, and date? Doesn't seem reliable to me. Sunya (talk) 06:54, 1 February 2013 (UTC)sunya

Although I 'know' Rozan's birth name is "Shira Judith Rosan", I agree that LibraryThing is not necessarily verifiable, as I have not yet been able to find "Shira Judith Rosan" in print. I have run across "Shira Judith Rozan" a few times, though. I have updated the article and PERSONDATA to reflect the fact that as a writer, as this article for Rozan is aimed at, most people know her as S.J. Rozan. There are a few people who refer to her as Shira Rosan, but they appear to be those who knew her as an architect, and/or before she became a recognized author: as acknowledged in Richler, Nancy Throwaway Angels (1996) Press Gang Pub, ISBN 0889740623; and Stein, Carl J. Greening Modernism: Preservation, Sustainability, and the Modern Movement (2010) W. W. Norton, ISBN 978-0-393-73283-2. --Oldbeeg (talk) 13:29, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

In the writer Infobox, I entered Absent Friends and Winter and Night in the Notable Works category. These are the top two most widely held books by Rozan by member libraries in WorldCat. Winter and Night won an Edgar Award, and Absent Friends was written in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York City. While the next on the WorldCat list, The Shanghai Moon, is my personal favorite, I did not list it as it has not be referred to as often as the two listed.--Oldbeeg (talk) 15:52, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Re-Assessed

This is a good solid start-class article now in my opinion. To move up into C-class, it would need more about the rest of the subject's life. Right now the bulk of the article is simply a list of published works. 1bandsaw (talk) 20:30, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
