Sādhu or sathu? This could be discussed as no clear transliteration exists and the Pali transliteration sādhu is ambiguous as it matches the Sanskrit transliteration of sādhu without noting the phonetic evolution. Suggestions welcome. Willuconquer (talk) 14:23, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It seems very unusual for the article title to follow other languages' and not the Pali spelling. I think Sādhu (Pali word) (or Pāli?) or Sādhu (Buddhism) would be better. --Paul_012 (talk) 04:10, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As for Sādhu (Buddhism), this word is also used within secular context in Southeast Asia, not limited to Buddhism.
And yes, Sādhu is better. It is the most commonly accepted Pāli transliteration worldwide. Faredoka (talk) 18:49, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
