Physicist
[edit]It seems a XIXth-century Danish Physicist was named Soren Larsen as well. He is mentionned in Scientific_phenomena_named_after_people. Cagnol 05:00, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- A biography of him in Danish can be found at Project Runeberg: Dansk biografisk Lexikon. There is also the brigantine Søren Larsen (website), built i Nykøbing, Denmark 1948–1949, now in Auckland, New Zealand. Is it named for the physicist? --LPfi (talk) 08:43, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- The webpage says the ship was built by Soren Larsen & Sons. Seems to be some other Søren Larsen. No suprise, though, as both Søren and Larsen are very common names. --LPfi (talk) 10:46, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- Is the Søren Larsen in the list the 19th century physicist? I can see no connection other than the name (in the list or in the linked article, neither says anything about the person). --LPfi (talk) 10:58, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
