Failed "good article" nomination

[edit]

This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of September 6, 2019, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: yes
2. Verifiable?: see below
3. Broad in coverage?: yes
4. Neutral point of view?: maybe - talk page in dispute about this.
5. Stable?: Not a chance. It was placed under extended confirmed protection just last August for frequent edit warring.
6. Images?: yes

I don't want to look at NPOV and accuracy as of this moment. The article very clearly doesn't meet the stability criteria.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— –MJLTalk 19:27, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'll also note that the article has some pretty glaring reference errors that should be fixed (Ie. invoked but never defined). –MJLTalk 19:30, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
MJL, in the "Michael Flynn" section, paragraph beginning with "On December 1, 2017," there is a spelling error I was unable to fix because of the extended confirmed protection. Change
- which lead to his sentencing being postponed several times.
