Unsourced
[edit]This article is totally unsourced and just reads like a resume of the subject. Someone needs to find sources for these accomplishments. Metros232 22:02, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Advertising?
[edit]Is the external link to TV audiences classed as advertising? It doesn't really seem to offer any information on Russel Howard. Elliot2005 09:33, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Radio v. TV
[edit]I'm sure his reported comment that he finds radio 'really restrictive' and 'I feed off the audience as a performer, but you can't gauge a reaction on the radio was a joke. After all, radio and TV shows are made in exactly the same way (save the extra lights and cameras) on a stage in front of an audience. The audience for a radio show is not in a separate room! Born in ...?
[edit]Why does the infobox say that he was born in Leamington when the lead says Bath ? ♦ Jongleur100 ♦ talk 20:59, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Someone changed it a few weeks ago without explanation. I've changed it back again. Custardninja (talk) 21:07, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Epilepsy?
[edit]I just logged on to find my sentence about Russell's brother (relevant I think) deleted without explanation. I have edited it back in, but am open to discuss it here if anyone has a decent reson for it not to be there. --TomBeasley (talk) 10:40, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Good news
[edit]this was aired on bbc every thursday. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.43.218.166 (talk) 12:54, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
- In the scheme of things however, the important thing is that he had a show and that it was called Good news (included in the article), not what day of the week it happened to air on (not included at the moment). - Jarry1250 [Humorous? Discuss.] 13:17, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I'm not really that arsed, but
[edit]Can someone get a better picture of the poor guy?! 86.156.96.44 (talk) 21:01, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've been thinking that for some time, but unfortunately we can't really get fair use unless someone actually takes one. TomBeasley (talk) 10:40, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
I have some. Although they all show him nude. Too inapropriate I suppose? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.131.63.104 (talk) 12:31, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Protected status
[edit]Yo man why is this place protected? It really diminishes the chance for public learning and support through editing potential and capacity (p.l.a.s.t.e.p.a.c). Anyway I and many other cats would like to help out here, but we can't because of this obstacle. So why not unprotect it? Safe. 193.35.132.52 (talk) 18:10, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
- This article is protected because it is subject to constant vandalism. It is unfortunate, but we have to do it. TomBeasley (talk) 18:23, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

On the russell howard wiki. It says he was born in Bath however he was born in Bristol
Jenlovesrussruss (talk) 12:02, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Done Thanks. Sources abound that he was born in Bristol, but currently resides in Bath. -Atmoz (talk) 16:31, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
I'm just asking, but...
[edit]- I had to do a factfile on Russell a while back, and I found that there were a few extra things I felt could do with being included on the page. After sifting through hundreds of pages on Russell, I now know quite a lot about him, and I think I could help with this page, but I was wondering if there was, like, a special reason that the page doesn't include stuff like the name of his girlfreind or the town he lives in, or the fact that he has a dog(bearing in mind that this is all stuff that was a)helful to me, and b)publicly available on the internet from fairly reliable sources.)
- I just thought it might be worth asking, because I know that the moderators for this page have to put up with a lot of cr*p, and I don't want to make their jobs any harder.
So, yeah, that, Yours Katie :D (6/1/11) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.166.9.192 (talk) 17:54, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

I think the problem is sourcing the information. If you have some reliable sources for the information, feel free to put them here and we'll try our best to get all of the necessary details into the article. TomBeasley (talk) 21:33, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, his dog is in several videos on the good news blog-being spoken about by russell in person. I know where he lives, because I, as well as just about everyone else where he lives, have seen him walking his dog, although witness statements are probably not good enough, I'll accept. His girlfreind is mentioned here: http://www.closeronline.co.uk/ShowbizNews/LatestNews/russell-howard-interview.aspx
(I actually have no idea if that's a link or not. Or if closer online counts as a decent source) Anyhoo, that's all for now... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.166.9.192 (talk) 21:48, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
early life
[edit]just spotted a mistake under russells early life. ok he didnt grow up in four marks and later bristol he was born in bristol and moved to hampshire with his family sometime in the 80s to a village called ropley which is not far from four marks. i know this for a fact beacuse i lived (still do) in ropley and went to school with him.Jonhants (talk) 18:12, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Source for influences
[edit]Regarding the removal of the Youtube video used as a source for the influences in the infobox, it was an interview with Howard on the BBC's Youtube channel (so no WP:LINKVIO issues), I don't see how this is less reliable than sourcing to a print interview with the subject. I think it would have been better to leave this source in than leave the information uncited. If it is not considered sufficiently reliable the information sourced to it should also have been removed. January (talk) 09:16, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
