For the record, that bit about 610 AM being more popular was part of an election gag on Tommy & rumble. The station is an automated traffic report. That was the joke. --From Andoria with Love 18:55, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All the deaths

[edit]

Can someone please explain what's going on with the second half of the article? I'm utterly confused... - Akamad 12:38, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like vandalism. So I'm deleting it. - Akamad 12:40, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The folks at Tommy & Rumble (actually just Tommy today – Rumble's on vacation) were discussing the edit that was made to Chris Benoit's article stating that Benoit's wife was dead, 14 hours before their bodies were discovered. Tommy then stated that he was dead (and black) and that Tommy & Rumble listeners should update their Wikipedia page as such. After it was reverted the first time, Tommy declared that the Tommy & Rumble page was officially "under attack", calling for listeners to add various death notices to the page. They were actually reading it on the air. It was pretty funny, but I think it's pretty much died down now (I know I'm done, lol). --From Andoria with Love 13:22, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Aah, I see. - Akamad 13:31, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They have brough wp up on air and encouraged listeners to make ill advised changes to pages before. While kind of funny on the air, it is funnier to hear the confusion when there changes dissapear. If it continue, short term protection is probably the best idea. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 13:53, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deaths of Tommy

[edit]

While i am a fan of T&R, I cannot condone abuse of this project. As funny as it may be, it is not appropriate for this project and like any other article out there which I protect from vandalism, I have protected this article from editing. If you would like to request a valid change be made to this page, please contact me on my user talk page. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 20:47, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Number one

[edit]

Tommy & Rumble was named number one morning show in Virginia last week or so. If anyone has any internet sources (I can't find any), then please add it to the site as citation for the show's popularity. --From Andoria with Love (talk) 13:48, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
