Came across this article via WikiProject Disambiguation and the Articles with the most disambiguation links report. Value of money

Is there any way we can estimate the value in modern currency of the money mentioned in the article? For isntance, 6s. (shillings?) means nothing to me. RJFJR (talk) 00:46, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
