New details to add to the page from Bloomberg, Sept 15

[edit]

The Ruby Princess ultimately had 28 passengers die of coronavirus, "more than any other voyage," and a toll twice as the large as the next biggest, The Diamond Princess. On September 15, 2020, Forbes noted that over the spread in Australia due to the ship docking, the New South Wales government was still engaging in a "a high-profile public inquiry, and police are in the midst of an investigation led by homicide detectives," with lawsuits also being filed by passengers. The ship at the time was anchored off the coast of Malaysia.[1]

Summary of Report?

[edit]

Although the section 'Special Commission of enquiry' mentions that a report was published, there is no summary of the findings. Surely this should be added? I have read the report (320 pages long!) but admit its beyond my capabilities to do this, perhaps somebody who is more experienced in reading government reports will be able to. No disrespect but I found it overly padded and waffling, lots of minute details and lots of names mentioned, but no concise summary of what happened. Conspira-Sea

[edit]

The page is edit-protected for some reason so I can't edit, but hopefully someone who can will add a section on the Conspira-Sea cruise from 2016. The ship hosted an event full of conspiracy theorists and one even got arrested by the IRS at the end of it:
