I doubt that anyone removing the safety pin of a grenade and then placing rubber bands around the spoon would do it more then once. If he lived to do it a second time. Grenades are dangerous devices and once the striker has been released by the spoon there is no way to return them to a safe condition. I suggest the order is placing the rubeer bands and then removing the safety pin.
