SCPCT dissolution - New providers at site
[edit]Commensurate with the dissolution of all PCTs effective 1st April 2013 (H&SCA) , the site is no longer owned by SCPCT.
I believe actual ownership of the site itself has transferred to NHS Property Services (PropCo) however there is now more than one provider at the site. Solent NHS Trust provide community and mental health services, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust provide further community services and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust provide acute services, albeit with most having moved over to Southampton General Hospital. There is also now the Royal South Hants Minor Illness/Injuries Unit http://www.royalsouthhantsmiu.nhs.uk/ run by Care UK

UHS services
[edit]In updating links to the renamed University Hospital Southampton (UHS), I have also removed the following wording: "It still retains some University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust departments such as out-patient Orthopedics, Diabetic Retinal Screening, The X-Ray Department, The main Pharmacy, Dermatology, ENT, Audiology and a Tuberculosis Service", and just said that it retains a few University Hospital departments. While it probably did retain these services at the time of the last reconfiguration, there has been a progressive move of UHS services away from the RSH to the other UHS sites. The UHS website says only that "a small number of our services" are provided at the RSH and I have not been able to verify exactly which ones remain. I have posted the old wording here so that other contributors can investigate further if they wish. Sixsevens (talk) 17:59, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
