WHC Match

[edit]

Is it notable to add in the event section that Kennedy literally had Batista pinned several times over when the ref was unconscious? It wasn't notable in a summary like the article used to have, but it seems pretty noteworthy in an expanded article. Opinions? Gavyn Sykes (talk) 20:41, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, it's not really a rare thing since it happens a lot when a ref is knocked out (although it's usually a face pinning a heel rather than a heel pinning a face). TJ Spyke 20:43, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
True, though the fact that it was a reverse of the usual may be a point towards it. I wouldn't call it notable if it was a few separate pins. But as JBL put it "He had him pinned for a ten count!" Gavyn Sykes (talk) 21:01, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WTH happened?

[edit]

The commentator table is gone, and the section looks like crap... Gavyn Sykes (talk) 04:03, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it's wrong. Why is he holding the championship the wrong way?SimonKSK (talk) 02:05, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's just how he was holding it when the screenshot was taken. –LAX 04:04, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review

[edit]
This review is transcluded from Talk:Royal Rumble (2007)/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Okay, the article's looking pretty good right now and there are just a few things that may need fixing:

  • Both screenshots and probably the poster too need to be scaled down to low-resolution to comply with fair use standards.
  • with 13 from Raw, 10 from SmackDown!, and 7 from ECW -- these numbers can all be spelled out in one word.
  • Umaga attacked him, and kayfabe injuring Cena's spleen -- I've never heard "kayfabe" before, but could you double-check the grammar is right here? Again, I wouldn't know, but to me it would make sense not to have an "and" in there.
  • Is he "Undertaker" or "The Undertaker"? Article uses both, so pick one and make sure there's consistency.
  • Thus, the match at the Royal Rumble, remained a singles match -- don't need 2nd comma.

 Done. --LAX 10:41, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's about it. You've got seven days to make these fixes, and good luck. —97198 talk 07:07, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

By scaling down the images, I mean re-uploading them under the same name, but smaller. —97198 talk 10:45, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know. I missed that when I was going through the article. --LAX 15:37, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, looks great. Free images are usually best :) The size of the poster is fine, but the only thing is that I moved Batista's image from right to left because it was conflicting with the infobox on my browser. Nice work, I'm going to go ahead and pass the article. —97198 talk 06:18, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What about

[edit]

The order of the eliminations... look at the article and look at this. --KingOfDX (talk) 01:09, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
