My grandfather, told me a story of my Great Uncle Roy. The story is relatively short and he swears it's true. Over the course of WW2 my Great Uncle Roy worked for the OSS, but under the public eye at some point in mid-late war Roy was in Norway. He jumped out of a plane with the guy who made either 007 or James Bond, I forgot which one, and another guy. The few skied down a mountain they landed on and went to a Nazi heavy water plant. They blew it up and returned home safely. The story is quite interesting but I find it hard that my grandfather, father, and other family members would Lie of such a thing. If there are no connections it could be because it went out of official confidentiality when my Great Uncle Roy was nearing death. Sorry for my bad spelling and or grammar.
