The linked Boston Online page [1] doesn't seem to have much information, and probably contains inaccurate information. It states that the Trinity Church in Copley Square is built of Roxbury Conglomerate, but a couple of comments indicate that it's actually brownstone. In fact, most of the information given in the writeup is disputed in comments. Should we remove this link? -- SamHathaway 18:31, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

expansion

I added some info to clarify the fact that the puddingstone formation extends well beyond Roxbury. I also added links--one to a geological map showing the extent of the formation, and one to an old MIT bulletin that mentions the quarrying activities in Brighton and Newton. Incidentally, I'd favor having the article at "Roxbury puddingstone" rather than at "Roxbury conglomerate." I'm happy to be outvoted, though, if real geologists (I'm not one) feel the existing title is better. 65.213.77.129 (talk) 15:42, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
