From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As from September 2010 there were 32 examples of this car remaining either SORN'd or taxed. There are occasional finds in garages or cars just kept off road and a couple of these have been rescued by enthusiasts. Sadly, many of these cars were broken for the engine internals to increase the power of the later T series turbo engines. Records show that providing proper engine management is in place, with a few modifications these engines can produce over 400 bhp. Who said Rovers were rubbish ? The number of remaining cars was obtained under the Freedom of Information Act via the DVLA enquiry system.
