This should not redirect to Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Rosso di Montepulciano is a DOC region in Italy. These are different wines than those produced under the name Vino Nobile di Montepulciano which in fact is a DOCG designation. Two different things entirely. Unfortuantly I am not sure how to undo the redirect and create the page.Ee60640 22:15, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think I managed to change the redirect and create the page as it should be.Ee60640 22:39, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not every DOC has enough information to merit their own article and will perpetually be a stub. It serves the reader better to consolidate similar topics with "stubby" info into a larger article that can provide more context. Eventually the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano will be fleshed out to include details about the DOC wines produced around the area that are different from DOC. Look at the Brunello di Montalcino and how it deals with the Rosso di Montalcino DOC. Same situation here. AgneCheese/Wine 03:21, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
