Exactly. I'd especially like to see some backup for the claim that his portrayal of Charlie Chan was considered racially offensive, considering that Charlie Chan hasn't been played by an Asian actor in a live action production since 1927. I think the editor who posted that is confusing the Martin film with another one starring Peter Ustinov, which was attacked by Asian interest groups. 71.200.138.188 (talk) 04:19, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Image copyright problem with File:The Four Of Us Are Dying.jpg
The image File:The Four Of Us Are Dying.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
That this article is linked to from the image description page.
This was a series with 189 episodes, and Martin was one of the regular stars. It seems a little clunky to list 7 individual episodes, instead of just a general series credit. I will clean this up. If anyone has a legitimate objection, they can revert it. Gil gosseyn (talk) 09:22, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
According to WP:Ethnicity, the guidelines on biographical structure for Wikipedia, place of birth, previous nationalities and/or ethnicity are not included in the lead. So why is this individual described as "Polish-American" and not simply "American"? Place of birth does not warrant inclusion in the lead unless directly relevant to notability. Similarly with ethnicity, previous nationalities, and/or sexuality, religion, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Apoorva Iyer (talk • contribs) 09:38, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
