Question
[edit]I am a new editor. Does it make sense to add this page books to which Rosaura Sanchez contributed, such as José Martí′s Our America: From National to Hemispheric Cultural Studies? <refhttps://www.dukeupress.edu/Jose-Martis-Our-America/</ref>Iamheddy (talk) 21:07, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Iamheddy - I think it's reasonable to add a person's notable works, but usually when a person is a chapter author (or one of numerous contributors to a work) we avoid listing each one of those. It's better if we avoid making the entry look like a resume or CV. One of the things that was lacking in this entry was a good summary of the subject's contributions to her field (why she was particularly important). Earlier an editor added a quote that talked about her conception of a theoretical framework; if there is more information along those lines, that could be added in the prose.
