Two questions
[edit]Regarding Rosalind (Thoroughbred), should "Thoroughbred" be capitalized? Also, does it meet WP:DABMENTION (i.e., is there any article in Wikipedia that mentions this horse)? bd2412 T 19:08, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
- Yes and Yes: Ashland Stakes, Road_to_the_Kentucky_Oaks#2014_season and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies top three finishers. She won one Grade I race, which is our usual minimum standard for GNG for race horses; however, there are a lot of horses that we could do articles on but don't - we usually like at least one more good reason before we do so (historic first, famous owner/trainer/jockey, funny quirk, etc...). As for "Thoroughbred", we consider the breed "Thoroughbred horse" to be distinguished from the concept of a purebred or "thoroughbred" animal in the generic sense. But, given the state of the capitalization wars around here right now, I suppose (racehorse) would be preferable so as to duck the issue altogether. Montanabw(talk) 05:30, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
- In this case, I would recommend writing the article, since ambiguity exists. bd2412 T 16:03, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
