Timothy O'Bryan merge
[edit]I agree that the Timothy O'Bryan article should be merged into here, as he has no notability other than being murdered. All relevant information is already included here. hbdragon88 07:56, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Life insurance policy amount
[edit]This article indicates that there Timothy and his sister each had $20,000 life insurance policies, while the Arrest & Trial episode "Candyman" claimed that each policy was worth $30,000, and even included a speech by the prosecutor: "That a man would poison his own son, and his daughter had he had the chance, and three other little innocent children, for $60,000?"
What is your source for $20,000? --GCarty 16:38, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
The Candy
[edit]The candy in question was a Giant Pixie Stix. For several years, the product disappeared off Texan shelves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.72.190.135 (talk) 01:09, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
buying the poison
[edit]Hello. This article says that Police never discovered where or when O'Bryan purchased the poison (first thing under the Trial and Conviction heading). That might be the case, but the cited reference for this (Snopes) doesn't seem to say this. It only says that the prosecution proved he'd purchased cyanide, without describing if police knew where from. If someone else can confirm I've not missed something, I think maybe the article should be adjusted.
