Call me suspicious, people!

[edit]

Call me suspicious but ten bucks says that Ron Burkle, whoever that is, created this article. It reads like a resume, complete with dubiously copyrighted headshot.--99.150.241.219 (talk) 02:16, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction

[edit]

Hi. I'll be working with Burkle's marketing team on helping improve his profile following COI best practices with the aim of achieving the GA rank eventually. I wanted to see if there were any editors interested in the topic that might want to collaborate on it. I have no particular knowledge about whether the claim above of the article being self-written is true or not, but I have a pretty good track-record for creating GA articles despite my COI.

The amount of source material available is quite expansive so it may take some time before I have a first draft available for feedback and consideration. There are some controversies in which Burkle is involved, and I will do my best to be fair and neutral about them. Cheers. CorporateM (Talk) 17:26, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That would be nice. I"m intrigued by your reference to GA articles you've created, CorporateM: would you name some of them please? GcT (talk) 17:01, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi GcT. My GA works are listed with GA icons at the top of my user-space. The ones I contributed to with a COI will say "contributed substantially with a conflict of interest to..." It's a good way for me to get my work double-checked to make sure it complies with Wikipedia's standards. CorporateM (Talk) 17:29, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Penguins ownership

[edit]

First sentence says we don't know his ownership percentage but the second sentence says he is co-owner?--LedgerTom (talk) 23:26, 11 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

He can't be 16 when he graduated high school because I was in his graduating class of 1970 do the math he would have to be 17. I can corroborate and you can by checking the Claremont (calif) High School yearbook 'El Espiritu' 1970 page 29 #10.
