Romeo Niram is one of the most important contemporary artists of Romania, with important projection abroad, mainly in Portugal and Spain, where he exhibits in many important cultural institutions, for example the Movement for Contemporary Art in Portugal. Critical reviews on his works have appeared in all Romanian cultural newspapers and magazine (Lumea, Cultura (Magazine of The Romanian Foundation for Culture), Contemporanul (Magazine of The Foundation Ideea Europeana), Adevarul Literar si Artistic, Timpul, Tomis and in online cultural magazines from around the world: AGERO from Germany, Almiar Margen Cero from Spain, Observatorul from Canada, Buletinul from Australia,Romania-Israel from Israel, IPL Noticias from Portugal, Epoch Times Romania from USA, etc. I have cited as References the most important publications. But, not all of the articles are available online. Should I put only the online articles as reference? However, the most important articles, in prestigious magazines are the ones on paper and not online.
Apart from his artistic career, He is deeply involved in promoting Romanian Art and Culture in other countries. His bilingual cultural newspaper Diaspora which he founded in Portugal is the only Romanian cultural reference implemented so far in this country. The arts magazine Niram Art, founded by him in Spain received the Prize for Best Arts Magazine, offered by the Movement for Contemporary Art in Portugal. It is also a unique instrument for promoting Romanian art and the only magazine dedicated only to fine arts in Romanian Language.
