I am more than certain you have posted the WRONG photograph portrait of Roman Jakobson !!!

I did meet him personally several times between 1968 and 1978 and the picture you are displaying is not HE !

The above writer is correct. As Jakobson's nephew, I can confirm this is not him. He never had an office in St. Petersburg in 1981 either.
