Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Munich and Freising is within the scope of WikiProject Catholicism, an attempt to better organize and improve the quality of information in articles related to the Catholic Church. Currently we have three related articles. This one, which is about the modern archdiocese and its medieval predecessor. Prince-Bishopric of Freising, which is only about the secular territory of the bishops. And Bishops of Freising and Archbishops of Munich and Freising, which is a list of bishops, archbishops and prince-bishops. I removed the list of bishops from this article because it was redundant, but I equally could have just redirected the list article here. I didn't because we have a separate article on the principality and because the list article had more redlinks. We have almost no information about the history of the diocese. If we are going with a setup like this—and our coverage of German bishoprics is not consistent and has huge gaps—we should probably have a separate article on the diocese before it was raised to an archdiocese and moved to Munich, i.e. an article at Diocese of Freising (currently a redirect here). I also think the list article should be moved so that the word "list" is in the title. Srnec (talk) 21:58, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
