Original location of the Haydn monument

[edit]

I did some minor adjustment, as inhabitant of the village, definately and proofably right. The Haydn monument was originally errected at the park of the Harrach palace, on a small Island inmidst a pond - called "Haydn Insel" Xandl Hofer (talk) 22:07, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for adding this. I made a slight adjustment: it seems you are quite right that the monument was originally surrounded by water, but it was (if my source is correct) the waters of the Leitha River, not a pond. Opus33 (talk) 23:48, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed text

[edit]

I removed some text yesterday, mainly because it was added by a now blocked user, User:Pumpie, who added an enormous amount of information of which very much was obviously wrong, because he didn't understand the language his sources were written in, and he made many typos and errors by copying info from articles about other places. There were some obvious errors in this article as well, for instance in the economy section. He wrote: "There are 74 companies, of which 47 are related to agricultural and forestry. 633 persons are employed. The activity rate is 17.59%.". The source he got this from was probably this one: http://www01.noel.gv.at/scripts/cms/ru/ru2/stat.asp?NR=30721 (2001 data). If you understand German, you'll see where he got the numbers from, but they're not what he says. Rather than checking every single detail he wrote (without giving references), I think it's safe to assume that what he wrote was worthless, and should be removed. Good point, thank you. Opus33 (talk) 18:39, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
