Premature speedy delete tag

Notability - suprised to see this article proposed for deletion. The subject was judged eminent enough for inclusion in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, and in Who Was Who. Fulford's corpus of historical publications was substantial and considerable. Tim riley (talk) 10:28, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
