However, arguably the clearest illustration of notability is that he is a member of a quasi-judicial UN body, thus falling into the category of 'politicians and judges who have held international, national, or (for countries with federal or similar systems of government) state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels' (per Wikipedia:Notability (people)).
