Carteret County News-Times Salute article- The rescue medic is Keith Oates

[edit]

Because the reference is not archived, here it is in part for the facts. "Though not a parade grand marshal, another very, very important person who will at the parade with Mr. Hernandez is Keith Oates, Morehead City. Mr. Oates was an Army medic in Korea. Finding a pulse in Mr. Hernandez’s comatose, wounded body on the morning after the attack, Mr. Oates sent him to a field hospital, saving his life." ....SaluteGodspeed John Glenn! [edit]

Removed the reference to "Mexican-American" as it is unnecessary. Hernandez was and American. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:A845:CD00:91C2:3B4:8316:4A18 (talk) 04:07, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion!

[edit]

Rodolfo P. Hernández is not to be confused with Rodolfo K. Hernandez, and he is not a graduate of Girard College in Philadelphia.--Dthomsen8 (talk) 13:02, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
