Stub at best

This page is a stub at best. I am still looking for convincing evidence that F. rupicolus is indeed specifically distinct from F. tinnunculus rather than being a subspecies of the latter.

If F. rupicolus is indeed a good species, then its range is soley African regardles of whether F. tinnunculus rufescens is subsumed into the new species. I'll see what I can do with the entry. —GRM (talk) 17:45, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

May I suggest leaving the page name as is (i.e. Falco rupicolus) until such time as there is general agreement on the split from F. tinnunculus?—GRM (talk) 18:10, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
