It might be instructive and educational to add a bit more about the unique experience the Chumash underwent using this entheogen in the cave and what is was like from the perspective of the ritual based on what we already know. Datura is considered somewhat unique in the entheogenic pharmacopeia for its highly unusual effects. The literature indicates that there might not be anything else like it.
