Nothing Can Stop Us
[edit]I know the Australian 1983 version (Rough Trade Australia/New Zealand via CBS) includes "Shipbuilding" because I had a copy :-) - David Gerard 14:50, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
Edit re: "Peuple Migrateur"
[edit]Although the article states that Wyatt's contribution to the "Winged Migration" ("Peuple Migrateur") soundtrack was "uncredited", his name appears in the credits of the movie and he is appropriately credited on the soundtrack album from the film, so I removed the language that implied differently in the paragraph that discussed his contribution to the film and soundtrack. -- Robert The K64.131.228.75 03:00, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
"Wyatting"
[edit]Have made the seperate article on Wyatting into a redirect here. The stub contained the exact same information as the section in the main article about the term, and had little scope for expansion. --HisSpaceResearch 03:42, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
"Wyatting" is a noun, surely? A gerund, to be precise. The verb form would be "to wyatt" and the present progressive form would be Subject + TO BE + verb + ing 125.163.224.69 07:58, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- But surely a gerund can only exist given the presence of a verb? I certainly can't think of an example of a gerund floating in non-verbal outer space. Wiktionary says a gerund is: "a verbal form that functions as a verbal noun." I think the '[sic]' should be removed; at the very least it's pedantic. Jigsawpuzzleman 20:19, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Wyatting seems like a real pointless section. In the scope of his music and career, which started in the sixties,I am sure there are far more important and relevant "pop-culture" things we could talk about/reference. Just mentioning a new fad in the context of his short wiki-page feels distracting and like I said, pointless. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Benjaminqjones (talk • contribs) 07:06, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
His disability
[edit]We have a category for Quadriplegics. If Wyatt is not the only paraplegic, can I suggest the creation of a new category? Or should I just do it myself?--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 22:30, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Have created the category myself, with only two articles in it at the moment.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 16:50, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
More sources go here, please
[edit]Hello, please note that unused sources do not belong in the External links section of the article. This is where they belong. I am moving the "link farm" from that section here. Please do the same. Once you are certain that a source has been used completely, just cross it off the list here. Leahtwosaints (talk) 08:59, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Odd fact about father needs explanation
[edit]"his father, George Ellidge, was an industrial psychologist who joined the family only when Wyatt was about six."
Why? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.78.164.140 (talk • contribs) 11:13, 10 January 2016 UTC
- Some further detail about his father here. But nothing about joining the family when Wyatt was six. Did he perhaps live a separate life until then? The family sounds quite unconventional. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:18, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- There's some more here, but nothing about joining the family at six. Perhaps this statement should be tagged as requiring a citation. —Bruce1eetalk 12:25, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- This mentions that his father only joined the family when he was six, although it doesn't say why. —Bruce1eetalk 12:32, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- I've expanded the "Early life" section a little, and added a Wyatt quote stating that his "father didn't join us until I was six". I still haven't found anything that explains why this happened. —Bruce1eetalk 13:31, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Correct names/spelling
[edit]I just want to draw attention to the names and spellings on official records. The electoral roll which is freely available albeit in a limited form online has these names recorded for himself and his wife: Robert W. Ellidge, and Elfriede Ellidge. But I acknowledge the names by which they are popularly known as well. https://www.searchelectoralroll.co.uk/Electoral_Roll_Search.asp — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30a:2c4a:1cb0:bdeb:8d96:b8bf:6a98 (talk • contribs) 19:36, 21 October 2016 UTC (UTC)
"jazz"
[edit]In the Solo Career section the phrase " (though he would continue to play drums and percussion in more of a "jazz" fashion, without the use of his feet)." is problematic. Surely the article should either expand on what is meant by '"jazz" fashion' in this context, or the qualification should not be in there at all. The fact is he 'would continue to play drums and percussion, without the use of his feet'. As it stands, I think the phrase 'in more of a "jazz" fashion' doesn't really inform the reader.
