NPOV
[edit]This reads like advertising rather than a neutral, even-handed summary. I am sure Wilson is a major figure in his field - this does not excempt him from critical analysis, in fact it necessitates it. Suggest appropriate disclaimer at start. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.33.171 (talk) 22:37, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
- Sadly, in 2020 this is still the case. Ashmoo (talk) 14:32, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
no mention of mr. wilson's "the watermill center"
[edit]surprised there is no mention of "The Watermill Center" (and link to a wiki article on the Center) created by mr. wilson.
from http://www.watermillcenter.org/about/index.php "The Watermill Center was founded in 1992 by artistic director Robert Wilson as an international, multi-disciplinary center for studies in the arts and humanities."
the center's events (and especially its late-summer event each year) are generally well covered in The New York Times with some regularity.--68.173.2.68 (talk) 23:55, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Legacy and awards
[edit]In 2002, Wilson was invited to serve as the first Mentor in Theatre in the inaugural cycle of the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative, an international philanthropic programme that pairs masters in their disciplines with emerging talents for a year of one-to-one creative exchange. Out of a very gifted field of candidates, Wilson chose young Argentinean director Federico León as his protégé.[1] RMP2014 (talk) 13:13, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
Death
[edit]Hey, I think the person who added the death edit think this is the Wilson brothers' father, which I'm pretty sure this isn't. Since I'm not 100%, I won't change it, but someone probably should look into that at some point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.96.19.126 (talk) 10:11, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
