Hello - I am going to remove a good chunk of this content, due to the fact that it is almost verbatim taken from this Simon & Schuster blurb. I very much support having an article on Merry, and in fact I have a copy of his book on the Alsops in arm's reach behind me. But, I am afraid that this will not pass muster in terms of not being text created by Wikipedia editors.
