it seems to me that what i'm about to say violates NPoV, but here it goes. i have lived in NJ my whole life, Torricelli only relinquished his seat when it was ABSOLUTELY clear he was damaged beyond any shot of re-election. This isn't just a claim, it was and is a reality... if somehow that bit could be phrased more accurately, i think that would be more accurate. i do understand that there is a citation to an external article saying this much... but come on... it should be in the article too - maybe just an illustration of the timing and the polling

The Torricelli Principle used to have its own page, now there isn't even a mention of it on the only remaining page for this guy. Just another example of systemic admin bias at Wikipedia. Bob Torricelli was the architect of laws passed under the Clinton Administration which crippled American HUMINT capabilities by eliminating pay-for-intelligence when the asset was deemed unsavory. In a world of shadowy characters, you can't pay any of them for information -- great idea. The following decade of terror speaks for itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.51.182.175 (talk) 16:38, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
