Potentially serious problem with unsourced allegations
[edit]The entire middle of the section on "DA of NY County" is now an unsourced expansion of a single line with a source about the 80's false arrest scandal. I am deleting it, as it is written with bias ("Even worse," "Worst of all," "covered up evidence" "with the apparent cooperation of the" DA, etc.), and leaving the single sourced line with a mild lede. --Seanose —Preceding undated comment added 20:08, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]There very first paragraph was mostly details on how the political boundaries of New York County are slightly different than just Manhattan Island. I replaced that by a reference to the article on Manhattan, which has even more detail on the same point. Morris (talk) 22:55, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Isn't New York County coterminous with the borough of Manhattan? You mention "Manhattan Island" above, but the article mentions the borough. The borough is, AFAIK, coterminous with New York County. (And neither of them, as you note, are limited to the island itself.) 208.120.34.239 (talk) 09:01, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- I clarified. I think that a previous edit confused the sentence about the county and the burough. Morris (talk) 21:36, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
No Free Images?
[edit]Why can't we just upload a photo of EDA Morgenthau from his website? Given that it's a government page (albeit not U.S. government), the images are public domain, yeah? --MicahBrwn (talk) 06:27, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

The longest-serving
[edit]Is not Michael J. Satz the longest-serving prosecutor in US history? Mr. Satz is State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. Mr. Satz was elected in November of 1976 and has been re-elected every four years since.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.9.5.55 (talk) 12:30, February 19, 2016 (UTC)
