- Bit pointless now the article is tagged with an A7 Yoenit (talk) 21:12, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- I tagged it as A7 once he resolved the copyvio issue. Regardless of the copyvio or not though, the article definitely qualifies under A7.--ANowlin: talk 21:44, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, it doesn't I'm afraid; A7 is only for articles which do not claim notability. The article claims that the individual has worked with a range of 'notable' people. This will need to be prodded or AfDed now. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 22:07, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

I've added what's also out here old newspaper articles to back him up...more coming as i find them.--Swingsetq (talk) 23:08, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- None of the sources yet provided resolve the concerns. Two of them confirm that he played tambourine on Marsalis' CD, and the newspaper article, if I'm not mistaken, mentions him in passing as one of a group. None of which is chopped liver, but there need to be articles from objective reliable sources about him, and him alone, to establish his significance. JNW (talk) 23:29, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've removed the PROD as it wasn't uncontroversial and the rationale didn't seem to fit, but if the article doesn't improve soon it'll probably be worth taking it to AfD as non-notable. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 06:18, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
