Furnishing

[edit]

Everything which has been in the news isn't central to a person's life and public persona the way that it deserves mentioning in the brief summary which is an encyclopedic entry. "In April 2018, it was reported that Lighthizer had spent $917,000 on new furnishings for two offices. Lighthizer said the upgrades had been initiated under former president Barack Obama to replace decades-old furniture, an assertion supported by vendors who supplied the new items" – if this piece of non-news (he didn't stop furnishings of a couple of offices initiated under a former administration) had no significant impact on his career, shouldn't we just remove it? /Julle (talk) 12:04, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've boldly gone ahead and removed it for now. Revertable, of course, if consensus is that I'm wrong here. /Julle (talk) 08:04, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
