Misleading introduction
[edit]The intro could be considered misleading. (fifth in the United States (first among American-born players).[1]) Fabiano Caruana is American-born, still holds dual citizenship, and is rated much higher than Hess.Ordinary Person (talk) 13:40, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Not misleading if you read "in the United States" to mean "taking part in U.S. Championships and representing the United States in Chess Olympiads." Not to mention official FIDE country of affiliation. Perfectly clear and correct. dst — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.43.49.21 (talk) 08:07, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Seven years without an update
[edit]Seven years without an updateI don’t see any information on this page since 2012. Either Hess is still playing, and there must be in new results, ratings, etc., or he is retired, and at least the page can mention that. GeneCallahan (talk) 23:24, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
Heritage
[edit]There's nothing on his heritage. His name is Robert Lee and he attended a grade school that costs $60000 a year. Where was he born? Who are his parents? 100.34.46.136 (talk) 21:32, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
