- Really interesting article Lettler, I have just a minor comment about sourcing. Ref #1 and #2 differ on where he was born. Ref #2 says
Brooks was born in MacFarland in 1915, and grew up in Sadieville
while Ref #1 says Sadieville. Just something that should be rectified but not something that will deter this DYK from passing. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 23:15, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
