explanation
[edit]I am reverting this edit for several reasons.
First, although it looks like a large change, almost all the changes were to the contents of the {{cite}} templates. As near as I can tell the actual fields of the {{cite}} templates aren't changed. Rather, while the fields were originally one per line, this edit put all fields on a single line.
Some contributors like to see {{cite}} templates where all the fields on a single line. Other contributors, like myself, like to see {{cite}} templates where all the fields each were on a line of their own.
While I like to see one field per line, I don't rewrite existing {{cite}} templates to conform to my preferred style, because doing so completely erodes the usefulness of diffs. This kind of editing makes articles look like they have undergone massive changes, when they have actually undergone trivial changes, or no changes whatsoever to how the article is rendered. And, it is just as disruptive when fans of templates where all the fields are on a single line rewrites templates in the format I prefer.
This edit introduced some very minor changes. Flawed changes, no offense. For instance, ships and vessels are close enough in meaning that it is redundant to refer to "Canadian Coast Guard ship vessels. Geo Swan (talk) 17:32, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
