The Stirnet Project, while comprehensive and extremely useful, is a subscribed site. Without a subscription, one has ~5secs to view the pages in question before being redirected to the subscription page. (Having said that, I have mastered the art of 'jamming' that redirect with a ctrl+p to a pdf file) I will attempt to find other sources that are of public access, but some help would be good. thepeerage.com and cracroft's peerage are a good place to start.
