Birth year discrepancy

The New York Times obit from 1976 says he was 77 years old (1899); the finding aid for the Williamson family papers says he was born in 1892... presumably members of the family would have provided information to both sources... I suppose checking SSDI might solve the problem?--FeanorStar7 10:43, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
