Disputed
[edit]Given Aldworth's death (1634), I doubt his participation in the transatlantic slave trade. Additionally, there is only a single reference given, and that link is broken. English participation in the slave trade was spotty early on. A quick check conducted at Slavevoyages.org shows that between 1568 and 1641 - a gap of over 70 years - legal trades in African slaves under the English flag did not take place.
